The North Texas Woodcarvers Guild presents the 41st annual North Texas Woodcarvers Show & Sale
“Rhapsody in Wood 2015”
When: Saturday March 7th 10am — 5pm and Sunday March 8th from 10am — 4pm
Where: Grapevine Convention Center, 1209 South Main St., Grapevine, TX
Admission is $3.00 with free parking.
Not just carving but wood turning, scroll saw works, intarsia and more
You will find birds and animals so realistic that you expect them to move. There will be caricatures to make you laugh, flowers to make you sigh and many sights to make you wonder…”How’d he do that”? Enjoy the many works of the artist in this show, ask them questions about their art, they will gladly share and above all, have a good time
The event consists of:
Show: Over 50 artisans show their creations.
Sale: Many of these items can be taken home! Carving wood and tools will also be available.
Competition: Ribbons and awards given in over 50 categories.
Raffle: Several valuable items to be raffled.
Silent Auction: Numerous items to be auctioned.
Whittling Competition: Timed competition. See what can be made in 1 to 1-1/2 hours. (Sunday 1pm start)
